Qatar’s leading tech startup, Snoonu, announced its partnership with "Tamias", the first local POS software in Qatar, marking another milestone in its continued growth journey.
As part of Snoonu's continued contribution to the development of entrepreneurship in Qatar, the company signs a new partnership with Tamias, the fully integrated Point of Sale System (POS) designed to simplify and automate daily retail and restaurant operations. The integration of the system with the Snoonu app will enable its partner restaurants, cafes and retail outlets send orders directly to the kitchen without passing through the cashier. The POS software will also allow automatic control of inventory without the need of human resources which in turn will help significantly reduce the wastage of items.
Hamad Al Hajri, Snoonu founder and CEO said: “As part of our continuous efforts to enhance the customer journey and create better solutions to shops, cafes and restaurants, we have entered a strategic partnership with Tamias. We are committed to providing world-class services and innovative solutions that go beyond the expectations of our customers. This is only one of several steps in our strategic approach and expansion plans to strengthen our leading position and contribute to Qatar’s digital transformation.”
Jassim Al Sulaiti, Tamias a Qatari Partner said “We are thrilled to be working with Snoonu, in delivering industry leading solutions that empower independent restauranteurs and retailers to transform their sales and operations. With Tamias’ solutions, merchants can run their entire business end-to-end with integrated software, hardware and data analytics. With the Snoonu integration merchants no longer need to manually enter delivery orders into the POS, menu changes are synced automatically and the delivery process is streamlined to perfection”.

The days of old-fashioned manual handling of delivery orders are over. The integration between Tamias and Snoonu enables the endto-end journey from customer order to delivery to be completely automated and streamlined. The localisation strategy in Qatar is the bedrock to the Tamias approach in our ambition to meet the quality of service promised to our customers in addition to allowing them to enter a new digitalised way of working. Creating growth has always been a key factor therefore, we will continue with our focus on global expansion across MENA and South East Asia over the course of 2022 with further regions to be added in 2023.”
